YA Dominates
TIME Entertainment recently named John Green's THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, a YA book about 16 year old Hazel, who is battling cancer (though which is not your "typical cancer book" according to the author), as the Top Fiction Book of 2012. TFiOS beat out such titles as THE CASUAL VACANCY by J.K. Rowling, WHERE'D YOU GO, BERNADETTE by Maria Semple and BRING UP THE BODIES by Hilary Mantel for the title.
You can add TFiOS on Goodreads HERE.

I have heard amazing things about TFiOS, and I finally caved an purchased a copy. After reading so many reviews about people sobbing, I was putting it off. I adore your blog design!
ReplyDeleteHa- thanks! But I can't take any credit for it! ;)
ReplyDeleteI did quite like TFiOS, though I wouldn't (yet) consider myself to be a MAJOR John Green fan! Hopefully after reading a few of his others books, for instance, AN ABUNDANCE OF KATHERINES, PAPER TOWNS, and LOOKING FOR ALASKA (and watching more of his VlogBrothers videos, http://www.youtube.com/user/vlogbrothers)I'll be able to deem myself a Nerdfighter!
